Radio Talk Show Host Says We Need More Dead Thugs In Atlanta

WOW!

Atlanta radio talk show host Neal Boortz is getting negative national attention for a rant earlier this week on violent crime in Atlanta. In that show, he basically called for the people of Atlanta to take matters in their own hands and deliver their own brand of street justice

“This town is starting to look like a garbage heap. And we got too damn many urban thugs, yo, ruining the quality of life for everybody. And I’ll tell you what it’s gonna take. You people, you are – you need to have a gun. You need to have training. You need to know how to use that gun. You need to get a permit to carry that gun. And you do in fact need to carry that gun and we need to see some dead thugs littering the landscape in Atlanta. We need to see the next guy that tries to carjack you shot dead right where he stands. We need more dead thugs in this city.”

The chairman of the Georgia NAACP said he was shocked.

“Not shocked that Neal Boortz would say something inflammatory, he’s done that before,” said Edward DuBose. “But shocked that he would go to this extent. This is in many ways advocating violence, vigilante-type taking thing into your own hands.”

At any rate, pull your pants up and put your hat on straight when you walk in Neal Boortz’s neighborhood….you’ve been warned.

The ex of Chris Brown went to her Twitter page today after the Parents Television Council condemned the “Man Down” video for depicting a premeditated murder, implying that killing is an acceptable form of revenge.
